i am buying either a new pair of polarized costa del mar sunglasses or a new pair of oakley polarized sunglasses. which brand should I get????…..which model??????

Obviously the whole point of the polarized glasses is to cut glare and let you see into the water to see fish and structure.

Both of these brands are good, but there are lots of other good brands too, that are less expensive.

Rather than brand, I recommend you try them on and look for a pair that wraps around the side to block the sun's rays from the side. Peripheral vison is very important, and also, a lot of the models out there do NOT wrap, and let in glare and sunlight from the side which reduces the effectiveness.

Don't discount comfort, either. If you are going to be wearing them all day, some earpieces can make your ears sore after awhile.

For me, I bought a pair of Native, which are nice because they are lightweight, and have a series of interchangable lenses for different lighting conditions. I recommend these, the lens change is effortless, and you effectively get several pairs for one price.

Any of the other brands you listed are good too, but I like these a lot- Smith also makes some interchangable lens models.
